Dr Saliya Kumarasinghe | MBBS, FRACGP
Dr Kumarasinghe is a kind and hardworking General Practitioner who has been a part of our group for several years. Dr.Kumarasinghe is clinical coordinator at wells medical clinic. He is a graduate of the University of Colombo in Sri Lanka where he completed his medical degree in 2002. He has a broad range of experience in tertiary hospitals and in GP clinics. His past work includes being a medical officer at the National Hospital of Sri Lanka and a medical officer at the Neuroscience Unit at Anuradhapura Teaching hospital, Sri Lanka. These experiences at large and busy hospitals developed his skills. He is interested in the fields of neurology (the study of nerves, brain and spinal cord conditions), children’s health, and minor surgical procedures.
After gaining experience in many different speciality areas of medicine, Dr Kumarasinghe emigrated to Australia where he followed his passion for General Practice. He enjoyed his time working with families and individuals to maximise their ability to lead healthy lives. He is a firm believer in providing quality holistic medical care and understands that health is affected by not just physical complaints. He undertook postgraduate training in General Practice and completed his Fellowship under the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2014. He has also completed a post graduate Diploma in Child Health.
Dr Kumarasinghe is accredited to provided shared maternity care for pregnant women attending Mercy Hospital, The Royal Women’s Hospital, The Northern Hospital and The Western Hospital.
Outside medicine Dr Kumarasinghe is a keen photographer and enjoys music as well as sightseeing.
Dr Kumarasinghe is fluent in English and Singhalese and consults full time at our clinic.
Dr Thambimuthu Sivabalan | MBBS, FACRRM, FRCOG, FRANZCOG, FCOG
Dr Thambimuthu Sivabalan is a very experienced Specialist doctor working in our clinic. He graduated with his medical degree in 1971 before moving to London where he became a specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 1983.
Dr Sivabalan has worked in many different hospitals in multiple countries such as Sri Lanka, England, New Zealand and Australia. In Australia he undertook postgraduate training in General Practice and became a fellow of the Royal Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine.
Dr Sivabalan has a broad range of experience and knowledge which he applies in his work as a General Practitioner. His specialist qualification means he can provide expert care Women’s Health.
In his spare time Dr Sivabalan enjoys doing charity work and helping poor and disadvantaged members of the community. He also loves listening to music.
Dr Sivabalan consults full time at our clinic. He is a very senior general practitioner at wells medical clinic. He is fluent in English, Singhala and Tamil.
Dr Ransimala Menike Samarakoon Samarakoon Mudiyanselage | MBBS, AMC
Dr Ransimala Mudiyanselage is a full time GP at our clinic who has been working in Australia for many years. She began her medical career in Sri Lanka when she graduated from North Colombo University/University of Kelaniya in 2003. She gained experience when working in several teaching hospitals in Sri Lanka such as North Colombo Hospital and Anuradhapura Hospital. She also worked at the Chest Hospital in Welisara, Sri Lanka.
She emigrated to Australia with her family and completed the Australian Medical Council exams in 2010. Following this she began to follow her passion to become a General Practitioner. She really enjoys caring for her patients and providing holistic health care.
Outside work, Dr Mudiyanselage enjoys spending time with her children.
Dr Mudiyanselage is fluent in English and Singhalese and consults full time at our clinic
Dr Yadigar Temel | MBBS
Dr Yadigar Temel is a warm and friendly doctor who has been working in Australia in 2015 after working for may years as a General Practitioner in Turkey. Dr Temel completed her medical degree at Dicle University in Turkey in 1998. She worked for several years in rural areas and for 9 years in metropolitan hospitals before deciding to move to Australia. She really enjoys working in family medicine and has a special interest in Women’s Health. She aims to provide holistic health care to optimise her patient’s over all wellbeing.
Dr Temel’s hobbies include reading and travelling.
Dr Temel is fluent in Turkish and English. She consults full time at our clinic.
Dr Mary Ahila Jude Gerald | MBBS, FRACGP
Dr Gerald is one of our kind and dedicated doctors. She joined the team at Wells Medical Clinic in 2015 and really enjoys the variety of General Practice. She is keen to work with her patients to understand their problems and treat them accordingly.
Dr Gerald began her medical career in Sri Lanka when she graduated from Jaffna University with her medical degree in 2004. She worked in many different hospitals in rural areas and in cities for eight years before migrating to Australia. In Australia she has worked many different settings and experienced different specialities before deciding to specialise in General Practice.
Within General Practice, Dr Gerald has a special interest in women’s health and children’s health. She finds these aspects of medicine particularly interesting and rewarding.
Outside work she loves following different sports.
Dr Gerald is fluent in English, Tamil and Sinhala and she consults full time at our clinic.

Dr.Ali Soleimani | MD
Dr Soleimani is a friendly doctor who cherishes his ability to have trusted relationships with his patients and taking care of their physical and mental health.
Dr Soleimani graduated from the Tehran Azad University in Iran in 2008 with his medical degree. He gained many years of experience in multiple specialities in various Hospitals in Iran till 2012. He subsequently worked in the GP Clinic in Zahedan Ali Asghar Hospital before emigrating to Australia.
After obtaining recognition for his medical training in Australia, Dr Soleimani has decided to pursue General Practice because it allows him to have continuity of care of his patients. Within General Practice his special areas of interest are Men’s Health, Children’s Health and Mental Health.
Outside medicine, Dr Soleimani enjoys playing soccer, cycling and reading books.
Dr Soleimani is a part time doctor at our clinic who works on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. He can speak English and Persian.
